Steven Arnold Rintamaki attended Meadowdale High School and a former private school, Westside Place, in Seattle. He was a very photogenic child and appeared in advertisements for such businesses as Nordstrom and The Bon Marché. As a budding child violinist, he played in the Seattle Symphonette Orchestra.


A mischievous risk-taker, Steven searched for challenges throughout his life. A true kid at heart Steven is remembered as a comedian, a violinist, a drummer, a skier, a loving son, grandson, brother and friend who valued relationships above all else.


Marine Corporal Steven Rintamaki served as a Military Occupation Specialist in Iraq with the 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Weapons Co., CAAT Platoon. Prior to that he was attached to the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment in Hawaii.

Steven received several awards while serving in the military including the National Defense Service Medal, an Honorable Service Mention, and the Purple Heart.
