Nick Bailey passed away May 11, 2007, in Okinawa, Japan, at the age of 24.

He was born in Eugene, OR, the son of Stan and Andi Bailey. Nick grew up in Monroe, WA, graduating from Monroe H.S. in 2001. He graduated from Whatcom Community College and then joined the Marine Corps. Nick graduated from Amphibious Reconnaissance School, made Corporal, and was deployed to Okinawa. Nick loved mountain biking, fishing, and the Marine Corps.

Bailey, who joined the Marine Corps in October 2005, was assigned to 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.

Nick is survived by his parents, Andi and Stan; his brother, Eric; and two grandmothers, Dorothy Croshaw, of Goldbar, WA and Shirley Nicol, of Houston, TX.
