Keith Alan Callahan was born June 8, 1975 and at one point in his life acquired the nickname “Bam-Bam Callahan”. He wrestled in high school in Woburn, Massachusetts, the town he was born in. He later became a Golden Gloves boxer and practiced often with men in his unit.

Keith achieved the rank of Sergeant First Class in the Army, and was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Unit based at Ft. Bragg. He died January 24, 2007, the result of an IED near Baghdad, Iraq. Keith was on his fourth deployment. He fiercely guarded the safety of the men in his unit.

Keith, born to Russell and Joan Callahan, was raised in a family of eight children and became a family man himself. He enjoyed time spent with his wife Dody, and children Devin, Brady, Brooke and Tyler, in McClure, Pennsylvania.
