SSG Joshua William Pratt, 32, of Washington State tragically and suddenly passed away while on active duty in Washington State on April 25, 2013. He was born October 22, 1980.

He is survived by his wife Sarah Pratt, his four young children, Trinity, Corryn, Arianna and Kurtis Pratt and his brother-in-arms, William “Duck” Jones. He is also survived by his mother, Cynthia Davis, father, Daniel Pratt, brother, Robert Campbell, and sister, Chrysanna Pratt.

Joshua stood strong as an example of honor, selfless service, duty and loyalty. Joshua’s heart continuously poured out compassion for those who needed guidance, support, acceptance or protection. His life was lived with integrity at its forefront and he would expect his men to continue to do the same. Joshua always stated, “If there is a sacrifice to be made, I’ll make it” and he lived and died by those words.
