Corporal Dustin L. Kendall of Conway, Arkansas considered a career designing golf courses. The son of missionaries, Dustin was a very religious man. He grew up in a variety of places and his family moved to Bryant, Arkansas, in 2002. His parents moved to Europe four years later to carry on their missionary work, but Dustin stayed in Bryant to continue classes at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.

Known for his caring personality and charm, he had a heart of gold, finding the good in everyone he met. He deployed to Iraq in November 2005 and had just been promoted as a member of a security force that protected the Brigade’s commanders.

He was killed when his Humvee accidentally struck an Abrams tank in Baqubah and rolled over.

Corporal Kendall had just been promoted as a member of a security force that protected the Brigade’s commanders. He leaves behind his parents, four sisters and brother. He leaves behind his parents, four sisters and brother. Corporal Kendall was 21 years old.
