Daniel J. Otto, EN3, United States Navy, age 19, formerly of New Prague, died on Monday, May 26, 2008, in San Diego as a result of a motorcycle accident.
Daniel was born on March 31, 1989, in Edina, Minn. He grew up in the New Prague area. He entered the United States Navy in June of 2007 and was currently serving on the USS Rushmore in San Diego, Calif.
He is survived by his parents, Bill Otto of Anchorage, Alaska, and Diane Otto of New Prague; sisters, Kristin Otto of Burnsville and Meghan Otto of New Prague; and his grandmother.
