Anthony Williams was a small town guy, well mannered, who carried himself in a mature, dignified manner. After graduating from Oxford Area High School in Oxford, Pennsylvania, he fulfilled his dream of joining the Marine Corps and was trained as a combat engineer at Parris Island, South Carolina.

Corporal Williams was very proud of his military service, he believed deeply in America and God. And he had a tremendous sense of humor. He deployed to Iraq from August 2007 to February 2008 and to Afghanistan in February 2009. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force out of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Anthony Williams, 21, died on March 22, 2009 while supporting combat operations in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. He is survived by his mother, his father and step-mother, and 5 siblings
