A Polish convoy of Rosomak APC vehicles was ambushed near the Forward Operating Base (FOB) Warrior in Ghazni province 12th June 2010. Taliban insurgents detonated a roadside bomb which killed Polish gunner, Corporal Aleksander Milosz Gorka, aged 25. He served with the 25th Air Cavalry Brigade. Three other soldiers suffered minor injuries in the attack.
