Aaron H. Reed, the son of Stephen and Sara of Chillicothe, Ohio, was born on August 23, 1983 in his home town. He was a bright spot in life for all who knew him. Never seen disheartened or angry, his infectious smile and laugh would light up everyone’s day. All is photos show him with his trademark smile. He was very popular as the president of his senior class in high school, and is fondly remembered by all as a great friend and a better marine. Whether making the drill days go easier or teaching a friend how to drive a standard shift he was making people smile and achieve. Also full of determination, in high school he ran on the track and cross country teams where he was remembered for his tenacity, never giving up.

Aaron also liked to cook and was quite accomplished at preparing breakfast,- eggs, bacon, sausage and gravy, biscuits, and especially garlic. A man of many talents and a splendid disposition, he was seen as a man that would make a great father.

Aaron died with 13 of his friends, fellow marines, when their vehicle was attacked by an explosive device in Haditha, Iraq, August 3, 2005. He was 21.
